Christina is a first-year medical student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. She holds an MSc in Global Health and Development from University College London and a BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame. Christina brings a strong foundation in public health research, with projects ranging from hospital access to electricity in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to the use of serum biomarkers for cancer risk. 

In the lab, she is contributing to data collection and processing for the PROMISE study focused on the role of health literacy in motor outcomes post stroke. She also contributes to neurophysiology studies in the lab.

Outside of academics, Christina enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and baking sweet treats.
