Megan graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is attending George Washington University for a Masters in Public Health. 

Megan has specialized experience in clinical research in both chronic and acute stroke patients in upper extremity rehabilitation at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. For the plasticity lab, she assists in screening, recruitment, data collection, and analysis of TMS data from study participants. 

In addition to the plasticity lab Megan has worked in Catholic University’s RERC lab on the use of robotics and accelerometry for upper extremity recovery post stroke. Megan has also been involved in multiple NIH StrokeNet trials for stroke rehabilitation and prevention. 

In her undergraduate work, Megan worked in an infectious diseases lab studying enveloped viruses such as Ebola and Measles.
